É autor de muitos roteiros, incluindo os de 32 Curtas sobre Glenn Gould, Highway 61 e The Red Violin, e diretor de Blue, um curta estrelado por David Cronenberg. Tem acurado senso de absurdo, humor ácido e aguçado ponto de vista sobre o mundo. Atuou em muitos de seus próprios filmes e em Exótica, de Atom Egoyan. Multi-talentoso, é uma das estrelas canadenses em ascensão. Born in Toronto in 1963. McKellar is the author of many screenplays, including 32 Shorts About Glenn Gould, Highway 61 and The Red Violin, and was director of Blue, a short starring David Cronenberg. He has a sharp perception of the absurd and an acid sense of humor. Has acted in many of his own films, as well as in Exotica, by Atom Egoyan. Multi-talented, he is one of Canada’s rising stars.
